out of your reach, baby
Hi, I'm Ersh. Wishing you the best of both worlds--mine and yours!
Hi, I'm Ersh. Wishing you the best of both worlds--mine and yours!
So, it’s been another year. 2011 sure gifted me with too many wonderful memories. and it sure gave me painful ones just as much. Early in the year, like April, my lola passed away. I mean, sure she’s old, no, veeery old, unless 93 is not too old? She is my Dad’s mom. And we seldom see her before she died. I mean, her going was once very painful but it was nothing that was so hard to accept ‘cause for one, everyone’s gonna die anyway, as my dad would say, una-una lang. Secondly, she has had a lot of chances. I mean, she didn’t last that long without really almost dying (and I say dying in the most casual fashion). She had been hit by a tricycle once. She wasn’t able to walk for months. Thanks to therapy she got back on her knees as if nothing happened. Well, she was really like an iron-woman. At around 80, she would still insist on the chores. I mean, I wouldn’t even volunteer for the dishes! She loves washing her clothes. And sweeping very early in the morning every morning! So I guess you can say that she is a typical lola. She never gets tired. She may be forgetful, but she never forgets our names…and how a 1K peso-bill looks like! :p So that’s my Lola, gone at 93, on April 13, 2011. One of the saddest memory of 2011.
And the losing didn’t end there. And I must say, the next one is more painful. We lost my kuya. I love him. We love him. He is much too young and very promising. I mean, not like he’s gonna get us millions. But he is painting a very good reputation for our name. He is my cousin. His name is Micheal Parungao, born and raised albeit notoriously, in Tondo. When he was younger, I mean, the reference is really before he gets married, I think he was 21 when he married, he was your bad guy! Literally and figuratively. He got involved in drugs, fights, and soo many beautiful and not so beautiful girls! I think he has pretty much tried living life to the fullest, trying out everything he can. He has a name for being a very good basketball player. I mean, you can try an experiment on this one. Go to Tondo, ask if they know Michael Parungao, the basketball player, and you’re sure gonna be directed right at our doorstep! That didn’t end even after he married. His fame continued. You may be wondering why he didn’t get to be a professional, by that I mean highly paid basketball player on tv.. Well, I don’t really know why. :( Anyway, so he married. Blessed with a business-minded wife and 3 lovely kids (minus the twins who died at childbirth). They were told never to separate as they bring luck to each other. So even if my kuya was a bad boy, and the wifey is a nagger, they sure stick together. :) Until that fateful afternoon of October 30. :( I miss my Kuya. Yun na lang. New Year’s Eve would be so darn different without him. Our fireworks goes to you, Kuya!!! Hi us to Lola. Whatever happened to 2011.
Hi! It’s late. :( But I’m still so hyper. :( Bet you’re snoring by now. DAYA! :\ Anyway. Can’t wait. Wee. I know you won’t be able to read this…yet. :P pero fosho, mapapasmile ka dito. :) Thankyouuu!!! Humabol ka pa sa bestmemoryof2011 ko. >:D<
